Im from Ireland and got essure inserted a year and a half ago.I currently suffer from extreme fatigue, headaches, migranes, joint pain that is becoming unbearable, weight gain, nickol reaction cant wear watch/rings etc..as breaking out in a dermatitis rash, unusual face swelling, anxiety, panic attacks, palpations, depression are just a few of the symptoms i get from essure.I have been given painkillers but my stomach is so sensitive I had to stop taking them.Im on daily doses of fluxotine for depression. Around the time of ovulation I experience pain from the ovaries and am very aware were the coils are, then a dull ache covers my lower abdomen it actually wakes me up from my sleep.I actually feel like somethings going to burst its constant endless pain my joint pain increases literally from head to toes and im like an old lady trying to move around extemely debiliating when caring for two little ones under 5…The tiredness kicks in now and I go to bed at 7pm with the kids as I cant function anymore..this continues then my very heavy period comes and lasts for a week pains are so bad Its like im in labour….I have had endless blood tests recently and one marker keeps coming back raised this is for inflammation the marker should have a reading between 1-10 mine is at 37 now….My G.P has now referred me to the hospital for further tests with suspected rare form of arthritis..blood pressure raised and had to wear a cuff for 24 hours to be monitered. The other evening I stumbled across the fb page essure problems completely by accident and started reading the testamonies of women and their experiences of essure I was horrified to read how many ended in hysterectomys…then I realised that my endless joint pains could be related to essure…all of a sudden it all made sense a relief yet shocking as i have been suffering for months on end and completely clueless to what has been going on….I am now going back to my G.P and hope to schedule a date for removal of the coils so I can have my life back. Im 42 and not so naive now to realise that the removal of the coils may come with complications but hopefully my life will not be so exhausting and painfree….
